Istanbul Metro, Unkapaný – Taksim Section, Golden Horn Bay Crossing Bridge

In 1997, on behalf of a Japanese firm, namely Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Ind. Co. Ltd. (IHI), for the construction tender of Golden Horn Bay crossing in the Unkapaný – Taksim section of Istanbul Metro System, TEK-YEN had prepared a tender proposal design of this 892 m. long bay crossing portion which consists of a steel bridge of 5 spans each of which is 92 m. wide, and on both coasts of the bay, composite bridges having 12 spans totally, each of which has a width of 36 m.
